Story developing... the biological father of Mercy James, the 3-year old Malawian orphan that Madonna is desperately trying to adopt, has issued a plea to halt the adoption process. According to our sources:
A letter from James Kambewa who is the father of Mercy James, to lawyers is pictured. Madonna's hopes of adopting three-year-old Mercy James hit another setback as her real dad launched an official bid to stop proceedings. Mercy's long-lost dad James Kambewa, 24, is speaking to a lawyer and wants to bring an injunction preventing the star from taking his daughter. The security guard, who earns just £23 a month, insists he can bring up Mercy himself and says he plans to halt the adoption. In a letter sent to lawyers Mr Kambewa reveals: "I have learnt that an American musician called Madonna has applied to a court for the adoption of the kid, to which the grandmother has consented. "However, I do not consent to the adoption because I feel I am capable of raising the child. "May you please help me to obtain an injunction to stop the court process until I am heard."
How do you say too little too late in Malawian? If she was living in an orphanage, then I think it's pretty clear that you weren't taking care of her. Honestly... I smell blackmail or briberies, as the bargaining chip for future negotiations.
... and Susan Boyle is an overnight success. Simon Cowell tried to backpeddle a little about his obvious admiration for the starlet, but we all know that she has no competition in the Britain's Got Talent show. According to MTV Newsroom:
“Get yourself together, sweetheart, for the big one — the semifinal,” Cowell advised Boyle recently. “Shut the door, choose the right song and come back as who you are, not who you want to be.” While Susan hasn’t staged a concert or performed on another talent show, she has sung on shows like “Larry King Live” and the “Today” show. She’s set to appear on the semifinals of “BGT” next month.

So, I got home @ like 6:00pm, fell asleep instantly and just got up about half an hour ago! It's 11:00pm right now. And, it feels terrific! I just hope... I can fall back to sleep relatively soon? I LOVE sleeping.

I love love love Nicole Richie! I officially bestow her the title of ultimate fashionista! She could literally make a garbage bag look high fashion and exude cool while wearing it! Through complete association, I sort of enjoy Joel Madden now and think they make quite the couple. Not to mention that they produced one very cute Harlow!
I can only assume baby #2 will be just as cute! Maybe baby #2 will look more like momma. There's no denying Harlow's dad, that's for sure! She's a mini lady version of Joel! Way too cute! Nicole looks as cool as ever and may I just say that Mr. Madden is also looking very good these days... very lean & slender. Love them!

What a B-EAUTIFUL day! It looks like heaven from here. I keep having this reoccuring dream, it involves me, Stella, and Bobo (my 2 yr old chi that looks like a little cow) on a plane to Hawaii. But, Miami would definitely do, too!

There is certainly something hypnotizing about Zachary Quinto's eyebrows... their perfect... like a mirror image of each other (not that he's hard to look at)! Go figure, a guy who has the potential to have a Bert (Sesame Street) unibrow has better defined brows than I ever have!
Here's Zachary looking super chic while arriving at the Dave Letterman Show in NYC. No doubt there to promote the new Star Trek movie in which he plays Spock. Please, those brows alone got him the gig no questions necessary. I bet he's fantastic in it. He's fantastic in Heroes as super-crazy fucked-up Sylar. I must mention that I missed the season finale yesterday... the show is too good to watch one episode a week anyway... I just buy each season so I can drown myself in Heroes episodes one after another!
Star Trek is set to be released in theaters May 8, 2009. Until then, you'll just have to check out Spock below!
